STBDesk can not read schemas table

If you’re trying to launch STB Detector and you receive the following error ‘StbDesk’ can not read ‘schemas’ table, then your configuration path in your registry is incorrect.

To correct this problem do the following,

  1. Open regedit
  2. Go to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Borland\Database Engine
  3. Double Click on CONFIGFILE01
  4. Now insert the correct path for the configuration file, usually the path is found in the configuration folder  in the STB Detector home folder.  The file name is usually STB_DETECTOR.CFG
